Without planning it, today was a day at home for E and W and I.
E at lunch
And this has meant that I have not cleaned up any toys but just mooched around in our pyjamas. I did put a slow cooker dinner on at 8 am so that is done. But there is washing to be brought in, folded and put away..... Instead I have just hung with the kids - pulled out a new train set (new as in hasn't been brought out for a few weeks so it seems new to the boys!) (parenting secret 26 : keep a stash of toys for home days!) and sat down, laid down as much as possible.
A bit boring but certainly low stress.Labels: parenting
