More Play More Learning

T had to do a piece of artwork for show & tell last week as well as his normal homework.  Well, W would not be left out, so here he is colouring in with T doing his homework.  I know I rave about W's concentration span - but really, it is amazing!

Here are the littlies after they have completed their giant floor puzzles. Notice when I ask them to smile, E STILL pulls a face with his fingers!  W has mastered the mechanical jack-in-a-box - it requires lots of patience (not his forte) but we have managed to get it.

Last few weeks of school for the year.  Here is T putting his backpack away outside his classroom.

Trepidation for me around next year's class for T.  I really want T to have some boys in his class who he gets along with on many levels.  There really wasn't anyone this year.  T is the oldest in his class and his teacher describes him as a 'nerd' in need of another 'nerdy' friend.  I agree.  I hope he finds one in next year's class.

Also having had Mrs K this year - such a spectacular multi-age teacher (who could continue to stimulate the more advanced kids as well as those in need of extra support seemingly seamlessly) - it will be hard to match her.  I know I am 'crazy mom' (thanks R for this label!) about T's (and all my children's) education and I hope I don't have to stress myself and any new teacher out next year.
