Brisbane is currently plagued by fruit flies. Or should that be bread flies, plate flies, cat food flies, children's dirty underwear left outside flies. They are everywhere. On a bad morning, you can inhale them as you enter the kitchen.
However, thanks to facebook, solutions were proposed to this very first world problem. Above is said solution. That is red wine. Along with keeping all food off the counters, and all plates (clean or dirty) off the counters as well. So CONSTANT washing up and packing away all day.
D takes joy in squishing them below the plastic once they enter.
They are definitely diminished in number but not yet completely gone thanks to this ongoing wet weather.Labels: fruit flies
