I had forgotten how lovely spring can be in Brisbane. Glorious swimming weather - which is where we spent most of Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Sammy had his first swim in the pool and of course, water birth baby, he loved it!
Eddie is such a confident swimmer now - he can get across the pool under his own steam no problems. Such a relief from a safety point of view. Here are some great shots of his jumping in! I have tried to keep them decent but my boys swim in the buff so a bit hard.
Tom showing off!
William has just taught himself to dive! He is doing so well.
It is days like today that I live for. The swimming, all six of us and then the pottering around, relaxing. We had an exciting and cooling thunderstorm just after dinner too - so tropical!
Admittedly the day started out very busy. Tom had his swim club championships (six races - 2 X 50m and 4 X 25m) and then the mad dash to Tom's piano examination and concert for both Tom and Will. They were both so confident performing and that is what I love.
And all without a husband - D got called to Tweed Heads for work. Thank goodness the cavalry in the form of D''s parents arrived to look after W and E whilst T swam.
Here is little Sammy after his first swim - you can see he has a bit of hair now!
