We were lucky enough to have Danna and Bumpa visit us from Melbourne. The boys loved seeing them AND D and I managed to sneak away for a night to the Stamford!
I took my mum and dad with me to pick up e from kindy. When we walked in, e looked straight through me and exclaimed, "Bumpa!" It was beautiful in the simplicity of his joy!
We had lots of swims in the pool, long, shared dinners, walks and outings. I loved being able to share the Sammy holding and just having an extra pair of hands. A luxury!
We were all sad to see them go this afternoon. But William was inconsolable, my sensitive one. Whoever has the love of William will be awash in it - he is just so passionate. He is most like me in personality in that way and I am thinking of how he will feel life so extremely and the joy and pain there from. Sigh.
