Ok that may be a bit too cheesy, but it was nice to get away, just d and I (and s - but he doesn't say much!) for one night. Lots of sleeping and eating in our 23 hours away! A welcome respite from the noise and go go go at home. And wonderful to be able to focus on Sammy!
We had a junior suite at the Stamford hotel - perfect. We will do it again soon I hope!
