So long no blog post! I feel like my life is slipping through my hands, no matter how I strive to capture it or even just be present in the present.
I blame Downton Abbey.
I downloaded all three series a few weeks ago and every spare minute I watched it, procrastinating over all other me time activities, including blogging.
I did really enjoy the show, the characters, the language, the era... But mainly I think I enjoyed being swept into someone else's lives and dramas. Mine are really so mundane.
But t has his arm back so we are deep back into piano and swimming. Time consuming. Frustrating beyond words on piano. Poor Tom. Poor me. But we have overcome and it is getting easier again. Graduation this Sunday - not a big one but enough he needs to practice a lot to get so familiar he can play it without thinking. Same day, our luck, as swim club champs so Tom will swim 6 raves, jump out of pool and then play a long minuet and be in a mini concert! Luckily he thrives on it! It's me who has the nerves. Tom is uber confident which makes my heart dance.
E and w continue to fight - the teeth marks in e's arm today look like bad ringworm! But w, when not tired or hungry, can be very good now with e and on his own, I would say, due to kindy. Yay! E is a challenge to say the least.
S is delightful. A real joy. Wish I could spend hours gazing at him. Alas no.
Noosa holiday in two weeks or so! Can't wait! Just a break from the routine is going to be good.
