So eating out at a restaurant three nights in a row at noosa taught me - 1) it's doable - kids were pretty good, 2) it's crazy expensive and 3) my kids really do eat a lot as a kid's meal was not enough for each of them - even the 2 year old.... Heaven help me when they are teenagers.
Tonight I took delivery of my Thermomix. Super fantabulous kitchen appliance.
The possibilities are endless. Even Damien agrees it looks awesome.
Tonight we made the vegetable stock (good base for lots of dishes) then dinner for tomorrow night - pasta e fagioli (Recipe here) whilst chatting with hubby and having a few glasses of wine. All of which is extraordinary because of a) my diet (wine is not normally on offer but decided a celebration was in order), b) tensions from the holiday that wasn't a holiday (perspective has been regained so we are amicable again) and c) ease of which dinner was prepared by the machine that may become a small god in the house!
Isn't he gorgeous?!
Food prep for some amazing green juices plus quinoa salad. I am so excited that this might make going vegetarian easier.
Shocking photo of me , but got to get in the picture .... Whether I like it or not
