Here as in blogging.
Here as in in Melbourne.
Here as in the desire to blog again.
Wow! However I have three children at home with me and all awake and active, so not sure actually how much will be blogged.
So much has happened. Some things I perceived as negative. Some I perceived as positive. But I know that things just happen - they are only good or bad as I perceive them. I am where I am now and that is all I know for certain. I live by the Parable of the Lucky Horse.
(After an hour disruption .... I can continue).
Anyway, I will attach some photos of the new house. I was going to wait until everything was perfect (!) and then I thought I would just do it anyway. So I have grand plans for the house in terms of decoration and making it more our home, not yet put into action, but here she is .... as is. And we love her. And the lifestyle she provides us.
View from my bedroom window
(complete with flowers from landlord to apologise for the oven blowing up)
William in front of the fire from last night.
The Organisation Room. All kids clothes and boxes for each child's shoes, sock box, backpacks, hats box, caps box, coats box, etc. Makes getting out the door a "little" easier. Makes putting away the washing a lot easier.
Kitchen, complete with no oven.
The family and dining room (new sofas and dining room table and chairs). Magic outlook over the back yard - the green is so Melbourne and when the sun comes out it is magnificent.
Living room - big television awaiting brackets for mounting on tv unit.
My study, also with beautiful garden outlook - I am sitting on that white chair right now!
Sammy's room.
Cigar room or piano room. Meant to be formal living area. Damien labelled it the cigar room!
Edward and William's room and the Playroom
Entry hall.
Our bedroom - honestly it feels like we go to bed and wake up at a BnB. Love the fireplace and the blue tiles. Love the high ceilings. Love the space.
Wardrobe - plenty big enough for us both.
Hallway - trying to give you the feeling of the spaciousness of the place.
Boys bathroom.
Stairs to Tom's room in the attic.
Tom's room!
Front garden - with gates closed it is completely secure for kids to run laps. And they do.
Realise I forgot the back yard - next time!
