With my online business and my coaching/consulting business, I am spending a lot of time creating and brainstorming, and then shaping these ideas into a product or communicable idea.
I have always used handwritten mind maps for doing brain dumps on certain topics and trying to make the linkages between all my ideas. However I am moving away from everything handwritten as it is a duplication of effort.
I have discovered a cool software on the web, www.mindmeister.com. I had to write an essay for my coaching course and I used it really successfully to connect seemingly disconnected ideas I had. I have also used it for writing a to do list (when your to do list is just so long that the "to not do" list is just as important).
Now that I am taking my blog more seriously (stay tuned for updates) I am going to us mindmeister.com to structure my blog posts around topics etc.
Damien, who is now chief web designer is also about to start using it!
